NITV is a government funded narrowcast television service, provided to establish a full service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in remote, rural , regional and metropolitan locations around Australia.
NITV informs, entertains and educates, preserves languages, tells stories and showcases the rich diversity of Indigenous culture and creative talent. It is focused on locally produced content and growing the skills of Indigenous people in the media and broadcasting industries.
